Abstract:
This study was conducted on Effect of organic and inorganic fertilizers on growth and yield of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) during the Rabi season of 2020-21 on Agricultural Farm of RAMA UNIVERSITY, KANPUR,209217, (U.P.) INDIA. The experiment was laid out in Simple RBD with 9 treatments replicated thrice. The treatments were T1 Control, T2 (100% (NPK 120:60:40 kg ha-1), T3 75% (NPK) + 10 t ha-1FYM, T4 (50% (NPK) + 15 t ha-1 FYM), T5 (75% NPK + 10 t ha-1 vermicompost), T6 (50% NPK + 15 t ha-1 vermicompost), T7 (75% NPK + 5 t ha-1 poultry manure, T8 (75% NPK + 5 t/ ha-1press mud), T9 (100% NPK +5 t ha-1 FYM + 5t ha-1 vermicompost + PSB). From our experiment it was found that the Treatment T9 (100% NPK +5 t ha-1 FYM + 5t ha-1 vermicompost + PSB), was found best in the terms of, Plant population, Plant height, Dry matters, Number of tillers, number of effective tillers, leaf area index, days taken to flowering, length of ear, number of spike, number of spikelet/ear, number of grain per ear, biological yield, grain yield, straw yield, harvest index and B:C ratio.
