Abstract:
The field experiment was conducted during Kharif 2019 at Experiment farm of Agronomy Department, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, to study the effect of tillage and crop residue management on growth and yield of soybean under conservation agriculture. The experiment was laid out in a split plot design with the combinations of three tillage practices in main plots and five crop residue management practices in sub plots with three replications on fixed site. Results indicated that the reduced tillage and crop residue application @ 5 t/ha + consortia @ 5 kg/ha was found significantly superior over the rest of treatments in respect of growth, yield and yield attributes.
