Abstract:
A field experiment entitled, “Evaluation of cow-based bio-enhancers and organic manure on growth, yield attributes and yield of kharif groundnut under organic farming” was carried out during two consecutive kharif seasons of 2021 and 2022 on loamy sand soil of Agronomy Instructional Farm, Chimanbhai Patel College of Agriculture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar. The nine nutrient management treatments under organic farming applied to groundnut during kharif season were laid out in randomized block design and twenty-seven treatment combinations comprising nine nutrient management treatments of groundnut through organic manure along with cow-based bioenhancer with three replications. Significantly higher growth parameters, yield attributes, pod yield (1488 kg/ha) and haulm yield (2263 kg/ha) of groundnut were found with the application of 100% RDN through vermicompost + panchgavya @ 4% spray at 30 and 60 DAS, which also gave the highest net return (₹53102/ha) and BCR (2.12).
