Abstract:
The5-acetyl-4hydroxy-2methyl-8H-Pyrano(2,3e) benzoxazol-8One was Synthesized by reaction of 3-acetyl-8-amino-6m7dihydroxy coumarin with acetic anhydride. The structures of the prepared compounds 3a, 3b, 3c, 4 and 5 were characterized by IR,1H-NMR, mass spectroscopy and CHN analysis. The new products exhibited antibacterial and antifungal activities.
