Abstract:
Field experiments were carried out on sandy soils of Karnal, Bawal and Balsamand of Haryana for (2018 to 2019) to study the effect of potassium application (0, 30, 60 and 90 kg K2O ha-1) on maize fodder (African Tall). The results revealed that maize crop responded to potassium application significantly up to 60 kg K2O ha-1. The potassium application significantly increased maize straw yield and fresh yield. The K content and K uptake by maize crop increased with potassium fertilizer application to the soil.
