Abstract:
A field experiment was carried out during 2019-20 and 2020-21 at College farm, College of Horticulture, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari Distract of AP. Data were recorded on growth parameters like plant height, number of primary branches per plant, number of secondary branches per plant, leaf area and yield parameter on fresh weight of leaves per plant. Among the treatment combination 40 cm x 30 cm + late Kharif (S₁P₂) was found to record the highest plant height. The widest spacing of 40 cm x 60 cm + late Kharif (S₄P₂) recorded the maximum number of primary branches per plant, number of secondary branches per plant, leaf area and fresh weight of leaves per plant.
