Abstract:
A field experiment was conducted on farmer’s field (Vadodara) during 2019 and 2020 to evaluate various biopesticides against hopper Amritodus atkinsoni Lethierry infesting mango. Of the eight evaluated biopesticides, neem seed kernel extract 5.0 % (NSKE), neem oil 0.5 %and neem leaf extract 10.0 % (NLE) were found the most effective in reducing the incidence of mango hopeprs. However, Beauveria bassiana 5% WP (1 x 109 cfu/g), Lecanicillium lecanii 1.15% WP (1 x 109 cfu/g) and Metarhizium anisopliae 1.15% WP (1 x 109 cfu/g) were found mediocre in their effectiveness.
