Abstract:
The experimental material for the study comprise thirty F₁ hybrids, three standard checks and thirteen parents which are collected from Horticulture Research Scheme, (Vegetable), Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani. Among the thirty F₁ hybrids evaluated in comparision to parents and checks, the hybrids P₂ X P₅, P₁ X P₈, P₁ X P₁₃, P₂ X P₁₃ and P₂ X P₉ showed significantly higher yield.
