A review on the pollution and its impact on horticultural crops

Abstract:
The Horticulture production deals with the intensive use of resources like land, water, labour and fertilizers. The use of such resources in limited period and time potential to negative impact on the environment. Plants are exposed to many stress factors, such as drought, high salinity or pathogens, which reduce the yield of the cultivated plants or affect the quality of the harvested products. This paper deals with the overview of the pollution which is caused by the different sources such as increased level of CO2, industrial waste, including the impact of stress in horticulture crops, physiological and biochemical factors associated with stress.
